How To Get Cat Hair Off A North Face

Why Los Angeles? (# 1)

At my age it's time to make a small dot on myself and ask myself some fundamental questions. Who am I? Where am I? etc.. But above all: what am I doing here? Without knowing why, I always wanted to live in the United States. One day in February 1997, took an anxiety attack monster, I decided to go ahead and leave for good. The first idea was, like all Europeans, moved to New York. Only live in New York, it's expensive and then there's the fucking winter. In Brussels, I was working next to a radiator and I did not want experience the same on the other side of the Atlantic. So we went to see San Francisco. It is a wonderful city, full of educated people, well dressed, eat well etc.. But it's like New York and as my memories of cities in Europe is very second degree. As was also expensive, $ 3600-to-time for a studio, we went down to Los Angeles. What I immediately liked here in more climate-is precisely what is not at all second level, not at all European. It is the city most first degree I've ever seen. This is a giant amusement park, where everything is designed for immediate gratification. Philosophically, it is of course debatable, but culturally, it's absolutely wonderful and incredibly stimulating. The first time I came here, I found myself almost by chance in a store-art gallery, Wacko / LA LUZ DE JESUS , and entering it, it hit me in the face. This is where I should live. Why? To be continued ...
